1. About this course
From Manuscript to Market is a self-paced online course in self-publishing, created and delivered by Yvette Farkas. It consists of video lessons, downloadable workbooks and guides, and a set of online tools, delivered through this website. By purchasing or using the course you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. What you are buying
One payment gives you lifetime access to the course as it exists at the time of purchase, together with any updates made to it afterwards. Access is granted to you personally, for your own use.
The course teaches a process. It does not promise, guarantee or predict any particular result — including sales, rankings, reviews, income or a published book. What you get out of it depends on the work you put in.
3. Payment
Payment is taken through PayPal. A PayPal account is not required; you can pay by card. Your payment appears on your statement as YVETTEFARKA (Yvette Farkas). Prices are in US dollars. Your access begins once payment is confirmed.
4. Refunds
You have seven days from purchase to ask for a full refund. Email info@frommanuscript2market.com and it will be issued — no questions and no hard feelings.
When a refund is issued, access to the course, to the downloads and to any Book Launch Ready workspace provided with the course ends at the same time. Material already downloaded must not be kept or used afterwards.
5. Your access details
The course area is protected by a username and password sent to you after purchase. Those details are for you alone. Sharing them, publishing them, or giving other people access to the course area is a breach of these Terms and may result in access being withdrawn without a refund.
6. Intellectual property
All course material — videos, workbooks, guides, templates, prompts, trackers and website content — remains the property of Yvette Farkas. You may use it for your own writing and publishing, including the book you produce while taking the course.
You may not copy, resell, republish, share, distribute or teach the material as your own, in whole or in part, and you may not use it to build a competing course or training product.
Whatever you write is yours. No claim is made on your manuscript, your book, your royalties or your rights.
7. Book Launch Ready
A Book Launch Ready workspace is included with enrolment, for one book, and is claimed separately as described inside the course. Book Launch Ready is a separate product with its own terms, which apply to your use of it.
8. Third-party tools and links
The course names and links to outside services — Amazon KDP, editing and design tools, promotion sites, AI assistants and others. These are recommendations based on experience, not endorsements or partnerships, and they are outside our control. Their terms, prices and availability are their own. Any dealings you have with them are between you and them.
9. Availability
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the course available, but no uninterrupted service is promised. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, hosting problems or events outside our control. Material may be revised, added to or replaced over time.
10. Limits
The course is educational material. It is not legal, tax, financial or professional publishing advice. Decisions you make about contracts, pricing, copyright, business structure or spending are yours.
To the fullest extent the law allows, liability arising from the course is limited to the amount you paid for it.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the course after a change means you accept the updated version.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay, where the business is based.
